SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Demanda conducts CSR studies in order to assess business management processes and the level of their involvement in outreach activities, in addition to identifying factors that guide the engagement of companies in Corporate Social Responsibility, understanding the related level of strategic and operational implementation and presenting segmentation that indicates differences among companies, including other aspects.

The collected data is processed in a multi-disciplinary manner, in order to make the best possible use of this information, with broad-ranging outcomes. Surveys in this area are designed to assess the progress of CSR in the management systems and processes of companies, and their investment levels in these activities. The main idea is that the sum of shifts in local stances may result in a shift in the global stance. But this change will be effective only if re-assessing the way in which we relate to those who are directly or indirectly affected by our actions. Consequently, CSR studies must strive to:

  • Promote a participatory process that allows the engagement of various parties rated as relevant by the company commissioning this study;
  • Ensure a diversity of contexts that encompasses the realities of small, medium and large enterprises, with a regional view, considering possible groupings that maintain local representativity and proportionality at the national level;
  • Make good use of the experiences and references built up by other organizations for working in partnership, building up synergy with what is already been researched and developed .
  • Include strategic questions related to governance and the relationships between the anchor company and its suppliers / clients.
